Small business owner Jeannette T. Crockett, started Just Because Gourmet Gifts after losing her beloved husband and soulmate after 31 years of marriage. Jeannette always had a passion for making others smile with her love, gifts, and creativity. She always felt that her day was complete when she made someone else happy through her wholehearted selfless giving.

After losing her husband due to a long battle with heart issues and inevitable lung cancer, Jeannette had a vision. Even after her tragic loss, she knew that there was no greater way to overcome tragedy and a broken heart than by being able to provide joy to others. Jeannette created and started Just Because Gourmet Gifts for her two sons in order to leave behind a legacy of love, giving, creativity, hard work, passion, and selflessness. She decided to pursue her dreams, starting her own company in order to make herself feel complete, but most importantly, to help others find innate joy.

Jeannette prides herself by offering gourmet gifts baskets, sweets and treats, wreaths, and a wide variety of others gifts for every occasion. From her own experience, she knows how important it is to share and spend special time with family and friends. She understands the significance of putting a smile on someones face, and in order to lift a persons spirit that is going through a rough time. She strives on making quality products, offering great customer service, and adding a little bit of her own personal story by individually customizing every gift. We all need a brighter day ahead, and sometimes, we just need to give and receive a special gift, Just Because.
